The Hipgö is an innovative accessory created to offer lumbar support and improve comfort when the baby gains weight. It also allows babies from 6 months of age to perform a position without the straps.  It is perfect for modern parents looking for freedom of movement while keeping baby close. Easy to use and compatible with the new EvöAir model from Chimpäroo, the Hipgö allows baby to be held effortlessly, comfortably sitting on the wearer's hip. Note that this accessory does not allow for hands-free carrying. It is important to always have an arm available to hold the baby's back.

Carrying without the straps

The HipGö attaches to the buckles on either side of the carrier by passing through the back. To adjust the tension and support, you must then tighten the straps on each side. The baby should be able to sit up on his own before using the HipGö for carrying without the straps.

Safety for newborns up to 6 months old

With the EvöAir and EvöLin baby carriers, the HipGö can be attached to either side of the carrier in the same way as a sling without the shoulder straps. However, the straps should not be tightened to avoid strain on the baby's back. The HipGö only serves to close each side to prevent the baby from falling out.
