One active ingredient in aloe vera, known as salycylate, provides both anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) properties. Many studies have shown aloe helps the healing of first- and second-degree burns, and also inhibits various bacteria from entering a wound. Aloe Vera Gel is a vegetable gel resulting from modern research and technology. It is made from pure aloe vera inner leaf from concentrate.
