Bumby Wool Solutions Stain Stick.  It smells good and works.

The stick is a firm bar, to let you do a bit of scrubbing. Simply wet the area and rub the stick onto the stain.  It is best to wash fairly quickly there after.  The natural soaps and essential oils combat and lift dirt and oils to help clean.  We have tested for effect on wool colours and had no issues, other than fresh smelling clean wool!

I wouldn’t recommend using this bar to emulsify lanolin because the essential oils and chemistry are meant to lift oils.
