Our 24-pack of tissues are designed to make your life easier!

They include a pretty fabric box to store tissues and a matching reversible basket to store used tissues until the next wash.

Choose Bateau bateau tissues if you like:

Tips for use

Use, dispose, wash, reuse.
Blow your nose, put your tissue in the basket and when the basket is full, drop the tissues in the washer without touching them. Wash and dry in the machine. Put the clean tissues back in the box and reuse over and over again.

The basket may not seem like a big deal, but it's necessary to give structure to the concept and keep tissues out of the garbage, out of sight and out of mind. It is placed next to the box to obtain a practical, easy to use and hygienic set.

Care instructions

Our tissues are washer and dryer safe.

Our tissues may shrink a little and warp over time. They are not meant to fray. If you see any threads, cut them off and continue to use them as normal. If you see that your tissues are unnaturally frayed, contact us. Top-loading, non-pivot HE washers are more prone to fraying our tissues. If you have this type of washer, it is recommended that you choose white tissues and/or wash them on a delicate cycle.

Avoid using bleach, as chlorine can weaken natural fibers and damage or yellow the fabric over time.

Avoid using fabric softener, as it may waterproof the fibers and your tissues will become less absorbent over time.

Washing

If necessary, you can rinse/soak the tissues first or run a quick cycle in hot water to dilute mucus (this step is optional, but it does ease many psychological blocks).

Add the tissues to a regular load (clothes, washcloths, towels...) preferably with cold water (for the environment).

ATTENTION: Blood can stain white fabrics. Rinse with cold water before disposing of or washing in hot water.

CAUTION: Do not overload your washing machine. Tissues need room to unfold and for water and soap to penetrate the fabric.

Drying

Machine dry to keep them soft or hang to dry.

Washing

Wash with similar colors in cold water to prevent shrinking or warping.

Drying

Dry flat to increase their life span.

Facial tissues

Composition

70% bamboo viscose and 30% organic cotton. OEKO-TEK-100 certified fabric.

Size

The tissues are the same size as a disposable tissue: 19 x 20.3 cm (7.5" x 8")

Features

Facial tissues are cut simply, without overlocking.

Box and basket sets

Composition

100% cotton inner and outer fabrics.
Basket lining - 90% polyester and 10% viscose

Size

There are two sizes available for the boxes:
Sets of 12 have a box that is approximately 20 cm x 10 cm x 2 cm (8″ x 4″x 0.75″) which can accommodate 12 tissues.
Sets of 24 have a box that is approximately 20 cm x 10 cm x 4 cm (8″ x 4″ x 1.5″) that can hold 24 tissues.

The baskets in the tissue sets are always the same size, approximately 12 cm x 12 cm x 12 cm (4.75″ x 4.75″ x 4.75″)

Features

The basket is reversible, but the box is not. Both items are sold together as a pair of stockings.

Carrying pockets

Composition

100% cotton, recycled PUL (polyester with a polyurethane laminate), snap

Size

Pockets are approximately 11.5 x 12 cm (4.5″ x 4.75″).

Features

Pouches come with 4 tissues but can accommodate up to 6-7 tissues. They have a snap to prevent used tissues from falling out of the pouch.
