The shield is carefully designed with large holes on each side to ensure minimal contact with the sensitive and delicate skin around the baby's mouth, which means less risk of moisture buildup from saliva that can cause rashes and sore spots.

The lightweight shield is available in two different sizes that correspond to the size of the nipple. The larger the nipple - the larger the shield.

For hygienic reasons, we recommend replacing the pacifiers every 4-6 weeks.

FOR YOUR BABY'S SAFETY

Always inspect the product carefully before each use. Especially when the baby is teething. Pull the pacifier in all directions.

Discard it at the first sign of damage or weakness. Only use dedicated pacifier clips that have been tested according to EN 12586. Never attach other ribbons or cords to a pacifier, your baby could be strangled by them. The pacifier should not be stored in direct sunlight.

HOW TO STERILIZE PACIFIERS

When cleaning the pacifier, just follow these four simple steps:

1) Put the pacifiers in a clean bowl

2) Pour them in boiling water

3) Let the lollipops soak for about 5 minutes.

4) Pick them up and let them dry

The vast majority of pacifiers have a valve. If the nipple has a valve, be sure to drain the excess water from the seat area when the nipple has cooled sufficiently.

TIP: When the child is older than 3 months, you can also rinse the nipple by placing it in a colander and pouring it out with boiling water. This method is partly faster and partly avoids water accumulation inside the seat part.

Warning! 

We often receive requests from parents who have followed the National Health Council's recommendation to cook the pacifier for 5 minutes before the first use and daily afterwards. The result is broken pacifiers. DO NOT COOK. They are not intended to be boiled and are therefore destroyed by high heat.

Instead, follow the instructions above and you are sure to kill bacteria without compromising the durability of the pacifier.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CLEAN THEM?

Cleaning pacifiers frequently is part of good sucking hygiene. The younger the child, the more important it is to protect him/her from bacteria and to maintain good pacifier hygiene. This is due, among other things, to the fact that the child's immune system has not yet managed to become familiar with a number of different bacteria and therefore will not yet have learned to "defend" itself against them.

We often get requests from parents who are unsure about how to clean pacifiers. There are many more or less qualified tips on how and how often to clean the pacifier - so it is with good reason if you feel confused.

We'll look at how to properly clean pacifiers, how often they should be cleaned, and finally, we'll dispel a few myths about pacifier cleaning.

Sterilize each pacifier before use. Bring water to a boil and pour boiling water over the pacifiers. Let the pacifiers soak for about 5 minutes. Pick them up and let them dry. The nipples of the pacifier can hold water, just squeeze the nipple to release it and let it cool and dry for 3 to 4 hours. If the pacifier shows any irregularities, we recommend that you discard it immediately. Because our pacifiers are made of natural rubber, the nipple may expand with use.

Premature babies and babies up to 3 months of age need to be cleaned more thoroughly and frequently than babies over 3 months of age. Therefore, the pacifier should be cleaned more often when the child is less than 3 months old.

0-3 months: The pacifier should be scaled every time it has been on the floor. Also, the pacifier should be scalded at least once a day.

3+ months: Rinse the pacifier once a day and rinse it under the cold water tap if it has been on the floor.
