The Cramps/Muscle Tension formula provides important electrolytes to help maintain good muscle function, as well as soothing herbs to promote general calm. The electrolytes magnesium, calcium and potassium are important for maintaining healthy muscle contraction function. In several trials, magnesium supported leg muscle function by helping to reduce occasional nocturnal cramps, which can otherwise lead to sleep disturbances. Lemon balm, passionflower and chamomile, traditionally soothing, are also included for their use in herbal medicine as mild sedatives and tranquilizers.

Medicinal ingredients (per capsule):

Calcium (calcium citrate) 25 mg, magnesium (magnesium citrate and magnesium glycinate) 75 mg, potassium (potassium citrate) 25 mg, passionflower extract (Passiflora incarnata) (aerial parts) 50 mg (4-6: 1, 200-300 mg dry equivalent), lemon balm extract (Melissa officinalis) (leaves) 25 mg (5:1, 125 mg dry equivalent), chamomile extract (Matricaria recutita) (flowers) 25 mg) (6-12:1, 150-300 mg dry equivalent), vitamin C 4, 2 mg (from 10 mg ascorbyl palmitate).

Non-medicinal ingredients:

Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, purified water.

Dosage:

Adults : Take 2 capsules 2 times daily with meals, or as directed by a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner if use continues beyond 6 weeks.

Warning:

Do not use this product if you are taking antibiotics or nitroglycerin. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic, have liver or kidney disease, kidney stones or a seizure disorder. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood pressure medication or other prescription drugs, as resveratrol may alter the effectiveness of these medications. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience any of the following symptoms: sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness or confusion. May cause weight gain and digestive upset.
