As for lava stones, these black stones have a highly porous composition, enabling them to absorb the essential oil and diffuse it on contact with the skin. Apply three or four drops of pure essential oil randomly to certain lava stones only (this is usually enough for the whole piece of jewelry!), then wait a few minutes before putting on the jewelry. Repeat these steps as necessary. You can reuse the same oil, or vary it as you wish; we recommend keeping your bracelet or necklace in the shower if you want the oil to evaporate more quickly.
