Description

BIBS Couture is the latest pacifier in the BIBS family. It completes the modern pacifier assortment with the highest quality anatomical teat in a premium design.

The teat:

The anatomically shaped nipple - also known as an orthodontic nipple - is curved at the top to naturally fit the baby's palate, and the tip is angled for easy tongue placement.

The curved top promotes a tongue placement and sucking technique where the sides of the tongue surround the nipple, just as it does during breastfeeding. Because of the bent tip, the baby doesn't have to suck as hard to get the pacifier to flatten in her mouth.

Because the pacifier is not symmetrical, it must be placed in the right direction in the baby's mouth. To ensure this, the base has been specially designed to look like a butterfly, so it's easy to see which way the pacifier should be turned.

The pacifier is equipped with a valve that lets the air out when the baby closes the pacifier. With this venting system, the air in the pacifier is expelled through the valve, which flattens the pacifier to naturally fit the shape of the baby's mouth cavity.

Base:

To ensure proper placement of the pacifier, the base is designed to look like a butterfly. This pacifier shape puts the least amount of pressure on the jaw, gums and teeth.

The lightweight base is carefully designed with large holes on each side to ensure minimal contact with the sensitive and delicate skin around baby's mouth, reducing the risk of moisture build-up from saliva that can cause rashes and sore spots. It also leaves the nose free for easy breathing.

The base comes in two different sizes, which correspond to the size of the pacifier. The larger the nipple, the larger the base.

Care Instructions

• Sterilize each pacifier before use.
• Bring water to a boil and pour boiling water over the pacifiers.
• Let the pacifiers soak for about 5 minutes.
• Pick them up and let them dry.
• The nipples on the pacifier may hold water, just squeeze the nipple to release it and let it cool and dry for 3-4 hours.
• If the pacifier has any irregularities, we recommend that you discard it immediately.
• Due to the fact that our pacifiers are made of natural rubber, the nipple may expand with use.
