Description

Our Toilet Starter Kits are designed to make your transition to washable toilet paper easier.

Set includes:
- 36 rolls (18 black and 18 white)
- 1 basket to hold 36 rolls at a time (2 tiers of 18 rolls)
- 1 waterproof bag to store the rolls until the next wash

The basket and the bag are attached between the toilet tank and its lid with a tie with a knot. Everything can be easily "unhooked" to wash or transport them without needing to remove the ties.

After over a year of testing different fabrics, we finally found the best washable toilet paper roll ever:

It's all well and good to have the perfect toilet paper in your hands, but where do you put it and how do you lay it out?

You need a system for using the toilet! Do you have one? If not, we've designed one to make your life easier!

Tips for use

Use, dispose, wash, reuse.

It's simple, our system consists of three easy steps:

1. Take a roll from the basket, unroll it (fold it if you want) and wipe yourself

2. Fold it and put it in the waterproof bag.

3. When the waterproof bag is full, we detach it from the toilet with the snap and bring it to our washer.

At this third step, we open the bottom of the bag with a zipper and let the rolls escape in the washer without touching them.

Maintenance tips

Our rolls are washer and dryer safe.

Avoid using bleach, as chlorine can weaken natural fibers and damage or yellow the fabric over time.

Avoid using fabric softener, as it may waterproof the fibers and your rolls will become less absorbent over time.

Rolls

Washing

If needed, you can first rinse/soak the rolls or do a quick cycle in hot water to dilute the dirt. Then add to a regular load (tissues, washcloths, towels, bobbins..).

WARNING: Blood can stain white fabrics. Rinse with cold water before disposing or washing in hot water.

CAUTION: Do not overload your washer. The rollers need room to expand and for the water and soap to penetrate the fabric.

Drying

Machine dry to allow them to roll up on their own or hang to dry and roll by hand in a quick motion on your thigh or a table.

Sets (basket and bag)

Washing

Wash with similar colors in cold water to prevent shrinking or warping.

Drying

Dry flat to increase their life span.

Features

Our toilet papers have no overlocking (sewing around) and they roll up by themselves in the dryer.

Our baskets are available in two sizes and each have two tiers to hold the Bateau bateau rolls upright.

The regular basket is 5″ x 3″ x 7.5″ (12 x 8 x 19 cm) and holds 36 Bateau bateau rolls (2 tiers of 18 rolls)
Family basket is7″ x 4.5″ x 7.5″ (17 x 11.5 x 19 cm) and holds 72 Bateau bateau rolls (2 tiers of 36 rolls)

Features

One basket includes two snaps and comes with two clips to wedge between the toilet tank and its lid.

Waterproof bag

Composition

Fabric inside and outside the opening and flap: 100% cotton
Lining: 100% polyester
Waterproof bag: 100% polyester - PUL (polyurethane laminate) made from recycled water bottles, CANZIP zipper
Fastening: 100% cotton and KAM snap

Size

The entire waterproof bag is approximately 48 cm x 26.5 cm (19″ x 10.5″). The top opening has a diameter of 12.5 cm (5″).

Features

The bag includes a snap and comes with a clip to wedge between the toilet tank and its lid. The bag has a zipper at the bottom to let the rolls escape easily into the washer without having to dip our hand into the bag. With a flap that does not seal, the bag is designed to limit odors.
