Spearmint essential oil is used in aromatherapy to help relieve headaches, colds and coughs, and as a carminative and antispasmodic for symptomatic relief of digestive discomfort.

History:

The mint family is a large family, there are several species, several varieties with as many different smells. The Spearmint is an aromatic plant used in cooking particularly, Mediterranean and Asian. Spearmint has a minty and refreshing smell, which easily restores vitality combined with a relaxing effect that acts by calming nervousness. 

Directions:

Topical (Adults) Mix 1 to 2 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) of vegetable oil; apply to affected area, 3 times daily. Inhalation Add 4 to 12 drops to a bowl of warm water or a diffuser. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5-10 minutes.
